problem with the autohotkey code that guy gave is that the rmb is still technically being held down, so it could mess with other commands and clicks.
the way toggle is supposed to work is that it toggles after rmb down+up.

Doesn't it make quick scoping more awkward?

I think I'd stick to hold aim. I'm all for giving players the option though.

I too, take distance and wind measurements, and check them with my spotter.

Shocker, people dont like having to hold a mouse button whilst turning and aiming because it's just not comfortable.
Thank you, at least you understand basic logic haha.

Not sure on the TOS for this game but in others, it's been stated that setting a keyboard or mouse macro that does this is perfectly fine (it saves keyboards). It's not a perfect solution but one that is faster than waiting for a patch.

... pretty sure every game i've seen that any ability that absolute required spamming (old school eq ranged attacks)... if caught, you were banned permanently for running a simple toggle script to avoid smashing your keyboard in half just to kill 1 single mob. i have not seen a single mmo that said "okay, you can use it for this, instead of us making it available instead". that's why they added an autofire command to everquest, and why city of heroes, star trek online, and... that other super hero mmo.. champions online? had the option of setting one or two attacks to be automatic, so long as you had a target in range. so that you wouldn't feel required to use a macro and risk the ban-hammer.
