okay, psn xjeffx9, my bud got a orange weapon as a drop from an elite, and we went to the dark matter base. We were doing the quest without the side mission with 8 players where you have one dark matter enforcer, monitor, sniper elites as aliies. Two groups of four with no one else around.

Also I really wanted to do this, I myself have never got one as a drop yet. Anyway more people in these quests like emergencies called Dark Matter Disguise (not the easy normal ones like clear out all hell bugs or any roadside emergency etc) lead to better loot. A dev stated in a playthrough a player only got a purple loot only from an elite in coop because all four players. Does not hurt since there can only be four players unlike the open world.

So by circumstance we had 8 players we rolled, and did this looking for bad *** bosses to beat together not knowing there were any bad *** bosses to fight.

He I am ego 2100+ and xjeffx9 is only 316. So sledgehammers remark could be true but good luck getting a orange drop less then 8 people in quest/emergency/mission like KTAM power mount tam or Dark Matter Disguise san fran
