EGO Perks, Grenade Damage, AND Shield Strength. The last one isn't a huge increase but I enjoy that My lvl 1000 Respark Reloader IV isn't as good/strong as my lvl 2400 Respark Reloader IV. And without any DLC released yet, I wouldn't be able to speak for anything else. The more perks, stronger grenades and shields you have the better you are in PvP. Which for me is where it ultimately boils down...making your character the strongest possible. And yes, weapon stats do increase as well. I had an epic Swarm Cannon I got early at EGO 204. I then got another epic Swarm Cannon near EGO 2400. I wish I still had both to give an example of the difference in stats...but I gave the 204 away to a friend because it was substantially less impressive.

Well I saw an Ego lvl 1 Orange Respark Regen 1011 cap, 40% recharge, 2.7 delay 50% regen
I have an Ego lvl 1000+ Blue respark regen 1084 cap, 40% recharge, 2.85 delay 50% regen and electric resistance.

I think they sightly change overtime. After seeing that crap of an orange shield I realized orange isn't everything, I'll keep my oj ironclad and my blue respark

Its not that. Being able to fully customize your avatar so you can make it your own. That alone would motivate me to progress. I don't want to look like 20 other people at a Ark fall. Adding gear drops would be more exciting. You shoot, nade and melee. Which any game gets repetitive. Things can be added to this game that would fix that. This game is in its pupa stage.

People like to roll alts because in many games alts provide a different story/approach to the game. Some have different starting areas, some have different stories, others have NPCs reacting to you differently, in some games an alt is almost like an entirely different game.

Defiance is not one of those games.

For PVP there is a huge difference between someone with 1500 & 5000 ego, much MUCH harder to kill but can do the same amount of damage as you.

I can understand that. Their are a lot of outfits already just a lot of people tend to wear the same ones.. Just need more 'better' ones I guess that will appeal to different people.

I did make a post somewhere in the suggestion forum to have costume pieces separated into heads / leg / chest etc.. for more diversity.

But yea.. I always welcome more goodies and can't wait to see what's in store..

I have played a ton of MMORPGs' and generally avoid rolling alts or never max them out... I feel it takes a large amount of time to get to the point I can enjoy the game just to try out a different 'class'... and eventually you end up at the same places anyway or go through a lot of the same places at a certain point...

With the way Defiance is set up.. Your options are very varied.. We could use more.. some need balanced... some don't make any sense.. but I believe these changes will come.

I find myself respecin' a lot to try out different things and at 1700 ego you have quite a lot of points.. can only imagine it at higher egos..

Can probably just change it all on the fly without the need to respec.

Separate outfit pieces would be a great thing and if they were rare drops or something. Or ways to alter the outfit.
