Snipers ARE BROKEN (Video inside)

Mods will destroy your sniper at the moment. I just don't mod mine at all right now. The snipers themselves aren't broken, just got 8-10 head shots on waterfront, but the mods definitely are.

Are you guys really not aware that all sniper scopes are broken?

There's enough threads about it... custom scopes provide a negative "bonus" to accuracy instead of a positive one. Not sure why they haven't addressed this but it's a pain in the arse.

Perhaps a Mod could forward this to a Dev for some internal testing or so please?

All of them. Don't use scope mods until they fix it, and someone else has verified it.

I use telescopic mod on my sniper. As far as the FRC BOLT ACTION is concerned, there is no bug with the accuracy.
stay away from marksman and sharpshooter.
Heres an easy guide to recognize your scopes. Majority of vids/ Screenshots of faulty scopes have been marks/sharp.

Iv'e also noticed this in PvP... I think it's the scope attachments hey i use the stand scope that are attached now.

This accuracy issue has nothing to do with the patch. It's been here since release day. And there are many many threads about this. Sniper Rifles have PERFECT accuracy while zoomed in. Whatever you are aiming at you will hit. However, once you equip a scope you break your perfect accuracy.

You don't notice it very much if you only use a bunch of White +0.10 Accuracy scopes as its not a huge effect. But the moment you equip a Blue +0.30 Accuracy scope your perfect accuracy is severely crippled like in the videos shown in this topic. If you DON'T seem to have any problems using scope mods then your Sniper Rifle most likely has -Accuracy bonus stat on it which off-sets the +Accuracy penalty from the scope.

+Accuracy = Bad.
-Accuracy = Good.

But its not just Sniper Scopes. ALL scopes are currently broken. In a recent patch they changed some of the scopes from +accuracy to -accuracy but they STILL make your accuracy worse. The whole system is currently FUBAR.

I use sharpshooter after i found out and thats over a week ago, i did reply to a thread on forum telling this, that marksman scopes are broken and the one OP use is Marksman scope.

Never had truble with sharpshooter scopes, there are a few mobs that takes more than one shot, but, those are Harder mobs and can take more dmg than normal mobs.

i can't say that I've seen this problem but I also haven't been touching the scope mods for my rifle. Heard way too much flak about the decrease in base accuracy so I just steered clear. But now you are saying it's not all scope mods, just certain ones??
