I didn't get much of a chance to do this due to workoh well makes the game technically longer as I go back on a hunt to try and find them.
I didnt get as much playtime as I wanted this weekend. But did get a purple shield and blue gun as drops. (with the usual amount of green garbage.)
It takes a long time to get 64 Key Code things... and then whoosh... I get some stuff I wouldn't use and sells for less than the 3000 script I paid to open the stupid lock box.
I think from now on I will just use my key codes to get Mods. Those are more useful and the weapons I will just use the ones that drop in co-op matches from mini-bosses. Good blue weapons you get there more consistently than anywhere else in the game.
The only thing I really got was an increased number of weapons to turn into Ark Salvage. Not one Orange or decent weapon period in sight.
Y'all whine too much.

Same here. Got more salvage than usual lol. No gun, nades, or shields worth keeping. Lame
Just as a really generalized example here... if it takes let's say 4 hours to get 64 keycodes and orange drop rate from a T4 is ~5% (based on the data-mining I've seen), one should expect a legendary item ~ every 4*20=80 hours on average. That could be anywhere from couple weeks to a couple of months depending on your dedication. Considering couple standard deviations in either direction, it's not inconceivable (thinking about Princess Bride) that some players have a few legendaries, and some are yet to find any.
I've seen some FTP games try to compensate the outliners by having rewards based on the length of time one has been logged in. For example, once you've been online for an hour (and every hour), you'll get a quest that directs you to some place to pick up a few keycodes, scrip, whatever.
I converted 500k salvage to keys and bought LV3 lockboxes.
I got 1 orange.

I started a new character. Got a lvl 20 orange shotgun... Might as well be like any other shotgun... Except orange...
