So, I'm at Ego 1600 and have completed the story twice with my character. I have yet to see a single orange weapon in any capacity. Has this been the case for anyone else? It's starting to piss me off.

I am ego 2600+, beat the story twice, every side quest and currently working on my pursuits (83 so far). I have two oranges since day one from lock boxes. I believe one was from a tier 2 and the other from a tier 3. I probably bought around 50 lock boxes, 80 % from in game script and the rest from bits. Seems extremely rare to get them, while on the other hand a few of my friends (1700-2600 egos) have unlocked a few more than me. I have never heard of them found from anything other than lock boxes. I am hoping at higher levels that they become a possibility at arkfalls, since the best I find now is purple if I am lucky.
Hehe, this is like an AA meeting. My name is Firetalion and I am at level 2303 EGO. I have completed the story mode and every side quest from start to finish once, and I have found one single purple drop when I was in a co-op map, once upon a time. That is as close to an 'orange drop' as I have ever found.
I've purchased about 50 tier 3 lockboxes as well, and on a single day when I was converting my 200,000+ arkfall salvage into keys and buying up endless tier 3 lockboxes, I pulled three oranges. Two from the same lockbox.
I didn't get too lucky on the oranges either. They're okay, but I have purple weapons of the same type that have better stats. Oh, and no grenades or shields. Just three weapons.
I opened around 40 lock boxes and keep finding white and yellow weapons .... one time for mistake also I bought one ... and only white weapons. look like a joke for me

I have never found anything better than blue, and that was in coop maps. Have about 10 orange items, all from t3/t4 lock boxes, though recently my luck hasn't been so good. ER1937. Only place I win any purples is major arkfalls and they are all shields/grenades.
There is no Orange drop rate, they expect you and in fact they want you to buy them. I have never had an orange drop but I have seen them in lock boxes only. they want you to spend MS points on 400 scrip boxes and I refuse to do it anymore.
Personally at 1300 ego/seven days played, (not rushing the levels, don't pvp or coop), it's 0.0000000 %, for my characters.
Haven't seen an orange, not that it's so much better but it could possibly be not worse, that would be something to look forward to.
When there were keys avaliable with random events , I'd try 2-3 of the "tear" 4's and 3's per day. Now maybe one of 3's or 4's, every other day at the most.
I see more purples on vendors then anywhere else, besides the grenades and shields standard "random" arkfall loot.
This increased loot weekend... the arkfalls are at 50 % buggedout rate in my time playing .. around 18 hours.
Thinking we were Arkfail hunters this weekend, not Arkfall hunters.
Guessing if there was a bug that happened that may have let players gain Orange weapons ingame by open world kills ... it would have been patched within the first few hours of being reported.
Arkfalls broken ...it's ok will get around to it monday maybe.. seems like, is the case.
Another problem with Legendary items is the possible amount of junk properties. I mean, just check this one and tell me what should I do with.
The only useful Legendary I got was the first one I got (in a Tier 4 box), a Flare Gun. Got also a medium Grenade Launcher and a medium Bull Rush.
