Why the hell am i getting messages in game telling me to go pvp? If i want to pvp i'll do it. I don't play a game for the dev's to tell me what to do in the game. I thought this was a very tacky thing to do and a negative hit to the game.

I was thinking the same thing and noticed your post, agree push your PVP messages elsewhere, annoying as hell when in middle of an Arkfall, quest etc ... Leave that space for server shutdown/maintenance messages only thanks.
I honestly don't recall any tutorials about how to get into PvP or other Co-op instances. Perhaps this is their way to try to make sure everyone knows so that no one is left wanting. Plus, i'm sure those who are avid PvPers love that they are soliciting the game type more to try and encourage others to join in.
It would be nice to have an option to turn off, certain, system messages/prompts. Obviously the "The system will be coming down in 30 minutes for a server restart. We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your patience" message should stay as is. All the messages regarding Co-op, PvP that flash roughly every 5-10 minutes though, I'd love to be able to opt-out on those.

its random when it appears, we were in a coop last weekend and the message came up asking if we had tried coop. Had to laugh at that one.
Yeah those pop up messages are annoying.
I'd say just about as annoying as ending up on a team full of pu**y campers on shadow wars.
I hate all of the server messages, it would be one thing if they popped up in the chat box but blaring across the top of my T.V. its more than annoying.

The messages pop up in the middle of the screen blocking my view. It interferes with gameplay.
Yesterday, one popped up during a hellbug emergency. I could not see the mobs and had to keep moving my avatar forward to try and avoid damage until I could reorient myself. Blocking a player's view is not good.
The messages should not appear across our screen. Either in a chat window, launch or load screens or not at all.
Send 'em feedback every time they spam you with that crap and tell them you don't want it. Last night I even got spammed with it while I was already in a co-op mission. If they want to push PvP, they can put it in the message of the day, but these stupid banner ads have got to go.
System messages should only be actual messages about the system.
