Clan Menu nightmare

Ok so since patches have come out lots have been arranged differently in menus and what not.
I receive clan invites almost every time i play and never join up but for some reason in the clan menu (using the quick menu) there is a list of players and options are something like investigate Clan Invite and mute probably more options i just cannot remember. So question is how do i actually remove all this people?
Mute i have tried for most of the players but there name still remains.
I was actually thinking of starting up my own clan or just doing the solo thing and once in a while team up with a buddy of mine. Oh and also wondering about the Clan invite option? I do not have a clan so i know i chose that option for a few people just not sure what it did.

I dont think you can, I think it resets at the end of the week but it will just have new names. Its like the PSN dashboard with players met.

I wonder why it is like that. I know before the patches i did not have a list of people like this.
Oh well not a biggie compared to other things going on i guess

yeah half the time it says Im not in the clan but when I talk to my Clansmen they say they can see I am still in

OT but not really much to lose by joining a clan, and definetly more to gain. I didn't even know how the clan stuff works (and for the most part still don't), but I got an invite and joined anyway. They always have bonuses applied so it's pretty sweet.

you should never join a clan if you were randomly invited,those teams are sad,and actually aren't teams at all. they think running a clan or league is like facebook,and the more names makes them better or cool. if nobody cares who the hell you are,and don't bother to even try to talk to you first,then why ever join them??? Although i see that a lot.
and yes,the system for clans right now sucks hard,but then again most of us don't even like the friends setup,always need a friends list in these kinds of games,i don't need 200 people on my psn.

I think one clan was Protectors of Olympus or something
Still think i will make my own clan tonight and hopefully it solves some things
