Is Defiance the most underrated game on xbox 360?

It is much better then anyone has given it credit for.

But it's a third person shooter in an fps world.

Had it been an fps it would be number 1 most played game. Don't believe me? Watch what happens when destiny comes out.

At the time of writing this, Defiance has a lowish score of 57 on Metacritic.com. The more time I spend on Defiance, the more I think this score is unfair.

Compared to some of my other favourite 3rd person games like Just Cause, Saints Row and Red Dead Redemption, I'd say Defiance is proving as entertaining. I really enjoy Arkfalls, Co-op, upgrading weapons and some of the later story missions have been excellent.

I'm just a regular player and I'm bewildered why Defiance scored so low for 360, as there's not been anything quite like it before.

What do you think? Has Defiance been treated fairly or not?

This game is severely under rated. I think a lot of people were scared away by the negative reviews from gaming sites and magazines and then the rest were not getting involved because of all the forum threads about bugs and glitches. I was prepared for the bugs and glitches because of Defiance being the 1st MMO for Xbox. I did wait a month to get the game rather than pre-ordering it just to make sure that the game was not going to be a huge failure but after I asked many different people about the game and if the issues were getting fixed I knew it was worth getting. I love this game and have since purchased the season pass and have no regrets and enjoy everything about the game.

The game is way under rated I think. Anyone that loves MMO will love it and it is a console game too which makes it all that much better. I love the game

Loving the game warts and all! I personally am inclined to agree that the score seems far too low.

Many of the scores will not reflect the game it is now. The launch was rocky at best. Bugs, missing pursuits, maps, every issue was noted in all of the reviews and at the time of most reviews, I'd say they were accurate.

This is where I can say that Trion has stepped up. They have made the game much better since release. I've been playing since the drop on April 2, on Xbox, NA, and with one big exception of the PvP map Freight Yard *Looks at Sledge* I'd say that many of the issues were handled and continue to do so.

The game isn't perfect. But with the release of the new content arriving with patch 1.020 and DLC, it's going to get better. The show has signed on for a season 2 but even if you don't watch it, it must be a good indicator for the game as they will constantly try to merge show and game as much as possible.

I just recruited my brother to play yesterday and he likes it. My wife enjoys the show (She watched SGA and BSG) and plays when I'm not on. Overall, the game has come a long way in a short time. Hopefully it continues to have these growth spurts!
