Orange Kit

Ego level 3100. Have spent well over 2m ark salvage on Tier 4 boxes (1.4 mil of that in one ultra long sitting). Have gotten an orange shield from boxes. Got 2 shotguns, 2 rocket launchers, 2 BMGs, 2 infectors, and a SMG from boxes (All but one from tier 4).

I started playing Defiance this past Tuesday. It took me until Saturday to finally get a grasp on the game, but cutting that time I have acquired an orange light machine gun and an orange grenade. I do not bare for the LMG because it is not FTC but the grenade is a blast ... Literally I guess.

I spend most of my time doing arch falls now to receive keys and spend them on Tier 3 lock box items. Works out well for me. Have two side missions left and I am unsure if I want to restart the main story.

Do you lose your pursuits when you restart? I have really done the game solo since not many people use the game chat or link up. I came from Black Ops (terrible) and Borderlands. The social network there seems a little larger but that could just be me.

Found my 1st at ego 800. (rubish rocket launcher) then had like 10+ oranges by time i got 2 ego 1800. Sitting at ego 2700+ now & not found many more DECENT oranges. I ONLY open tier 4s tho as in my experiance they tend to have better stats & synergys. Saying that my friend got a badass saw from a tier 2! And replaying the story does NOT reset all of ur pursuits. Do your side missions b4 repeating story tho.

I started on the 8th. By the 12th I had a orange courier at ego 370 from my very first lockbox. Then 2 days later I got a orange incubator Ego 727. So far I haven't seen another orange from the box. but I have got a slew of epic purples.

EGO 3000+ Playing since day 1. Can't say how many lockboxes I opened. Never seen 1 orange. How's that for lucky?

I feel like kind of a jerk for posting this but I got my first orange at ego 200ish from a t2 lockbox, its a grenade.

EGO - 1550 - 2 oranges from tier 3 boxes. An infector and a rebel shield. I probably only opened 20-30 boxes so far.

i have talked to a few people in game and my own ex. is that on the weekends when more people are on is the best time to try. i did it 6 times and got three weapons last weekend out of tier 4 boxes.

I've been playing for about 2 weeks. My friend, who played since Beta, hasn't gotten a single orange item from the lock box. I did my SECOND tier 4 lock box and I got 2 orange items at the same time. Needless to say, he was pissed. lol.

I have an Orange Double Barrel Death Machine for a shotgun and I have Orange Grenades that are just epic, my buddy had an orange shield but decided it was trash to he broke it down.
