Then why on their main website does it say beta access Mar. 22nd 8 am PDT-Mar. 27th 9 pm PDT also says the same in the email they sent me with my beta key?

because it wasn't originally scheduled till monday, it was pushed up because people were complaining that it didn't take place over a weekend

Network code is server side. Sorry to burst your bubble but even an alpha with optimized network code can have little to no latency. While I understand that Trion is working to fix the problem, if it is not fixed by the end of the beta you should be very concerned for the condition of the servers at launch. This has nothing to do with the client code or the various quest bugs.

Agreed, I'm just happy that I get to test a BETA, this is our chance to help fix these bugs. I can't wait for the full game!

How is hating to express a legitimate issue with the gameplay of a beta they want us to test? I do not hate Defiance, I want it to succeed and be awesome, it is just concerning to see such server issues 11 days from launch. How is it hating to be cautious?

This is a beta with limited servers and a limited population. And at the very moment they opened, they failed horribly. It took 90 minutes for me, some longer (others still can't log in) now scale that up to launch day with more servers and more people. Say its a stress test all you want if that is what makes you feel better but it is not wrong to be cautious with your money. I did cancel my pre-order and 2 weeks after launch if everything is stable I will buy it again. And when I play it I will enjoy it immensely.

I don't mean to be rude but are all 135 post you've written about the same thing, I feel like you are repeating yourself over and over throughout the last couple of threads. I understand your concern as I am just as concerned, this is an xbox MMO and unfortunately the xbox is pretty outdated to PC's. I do have faith in Trion to have this issue resolved and I'm also prepared to be disappointed. What I wont like is getting my friends hyped for nothing. Overall I understand how you feel as I was one of the many people who brought brink and fell into the hype. Money is Money and we all need it, and we will do with it what we will. You seem to be very cautious, so just follow up on your plan on waiting and I hope to see you on the game later.

I came into this test thinking it was a server stress test or something along those line as the game will launch in a few weeks, all major bugs should be fixed by now. The latency and lag issues are major problems. I am very happy they moved up the test dates for the xbox, because now they have more time to work on the issue, and maybe we will have a smooth launch. I must say the PC version is not having the same issue and looks good. I have faith in Trion Worlds, Rift is a great game. I sure they will do whatever they must to fix the issues at hand.
