For number 2, I wasn't thinking that the prelude to Rynn would air for only a few hours and then they would release the current content, which is what you seem to be hung up on. I was expecting there to be a week delay between the show and the game. The prelude would air today, then Rynn would show up next week. Trion hasn't been releasing episodic missions with every show episode, so a delay wouldn't really cause problems. If anything it would make more sense for her to show up later unless her roller goes 300 mph.

Perhaps I was wrong about you being a troll. You just seem to be stuck in a rut thought process wise and are not understanding what I was trying to convey. I'll admit I should have expected problems given Trion's track record with this game and their ability to update it. But it doesn't make it any less frustrating when they continuously screw the simplest of things up. To be honest the spoilers don't bother me, it's their completely disregard for maintaining any sort of continuity with the show that aggravates me the most. As it makes the future of the tie-ins look rather... well... dim.
eh, I just consider it a very minor thing and get terrible joy out of watching people over react. and its not that I don't get what you assumption was, I just cant comprehend why that seemed like the most likely, or why there was no consideration toward your assumption being wrong and the missions containing spoilers.

heh I honestly would have grown bored ages ago, but being so invested that what at best is a mild inconveniance to players results in hours of arguing on forums, you have to admit that is quite amusing. Heh though it will be just be sad if this thread is still active tomorrow.

I figured as much. And I did consider that Trion would balls it up, I just hoped that with this being one of the big selling points of the game, they would do it right. So I got upset when they did what they did. It's less surprising and more disappointing. That's where the outrage comes from.

In any case, while arguing with you might not have been the wisest use of my time (who am I kidding, it was pretty darn silly), but hopefully someone from Trion will read this, realize they f***ed up, and have a single tear roll down their cheek. Then they will kick *** and do the next tie-in right. Granted I have a better chance of getting struck by lightning than that happening, but you never know.

As for the thread being active tomorrow, I hope so. You might find it sad but Trion needs to see the results of their ball dropping.

Or you know, you could NOT play the content until after you watched the episode. I guess that is just too hard to do that with that big shiny ! on the map. You all were forced to play the mission, right?

How could one know that it would contain spoilers, that it is an event that happens after tonight's episode instead of before tonight's episode considering that it was release before the episode, and that Trion got rid of the first episode missions prior to the airing of the first TV episode to keep the continuity intact? Don't you think Trion is giving us mixed messages here?

Or you know Trion could actually be consistent with their design plan given they argued continuity between the show and game for pulling out the prelude content. Never thought about that huh?

Is it better to out-monster the monster or to be quietly devoured?

To me i didn't find it to be a spoiler at all. Since most of us here already knew she was coming. So the only two things that come to mind is, A) She escaped or B)She was let go. Now in this game they took both elements and ran with it. The game, she tells a lie to Cooper about how Nolan let her go and then when you watch the show. It was nothing like that. So is it really a spoiler? I don't see it as one. Now of course as someone said in this thread already. For those crying about it being released early. Well thats your own fault if you did that quest before the episode came out. For those who say its a spoiler. Should of waited for the show to air first.

I did. Take a little more self responsibility.

Again, how did you people know Rynn was coming? The first time I found out she was coming is when I played the first mission today. And how was I supposed to know it would contain a spoiler, and that this mission would be an event that happens after tonights episode? Considering Trion got rid of the first episode missions prior to the airing of the first episode because "it wouldn't make sense to have them in San fran and in St. Louis at the same time." Well, now they just had Rynn in San Fran and St.louis at the same time. So it is fair to think that this episode mission is something related to an event prior to tonight's episode not after.

Personal responsibility has nothing to do with Trion being consistent with their design plans. You're just looking for an excuse to talk down to people who have a legitimate gripe with what's going on.

FYI, the little icon doesn't show up on the map to even start the mission, plus it's a star, not an exclamation point. Another problem that you'll probably just overlook because you've conditioned yourself into accepting the status quo.

It was advertised on the dev blogs that not everyone checks, it was up on the syfy website for a while before they took it down again, one of the advertisement trailers had the ark hunter pointing a gun at her. Plus the live stream. But it's still understandable that you didn't know because they argued continuity for pulling the prelude missions and common sense would tell you that they're going to continue following that design philosophy.

It is Trion's fault for sending out mixed messages. They argued continuity before, so what logic is there to assume they would not follow that same argument with this episode mission?

Now they have no case for leaving out any episode missions, and they should all stay in the game permanently, since they already broke their very own argument for taking them out in the first place.
