Considering Trion got rid of the first episode missions prior to the airing of the first episode because "it wouldn't make sense to have them in San fran and in St. Louis at the same time." Well, now they just had Rynn in San Fran and St.louis at the same time. So it is fair to think that this episode mission is something related to an event prior to tonight's episode not after.
You didn't read the blog about her that was posted 3 days ago? You don't remember her in the launch trailer? Ummm i guess people don't read what trion posts. Now it all makes sense when people say Trion doesn't care.

So is it really a spoiler? I don't see it as one. Now of course as someone said in this thread already. For those crying about it being released early. Well thats your own fault if you did that quest before the episode came out. For those who say its a spoiler. Should of waited for the show to air first.
Just FYI, I waited to do the mission. Even after reading about most of it here. But the player's self-control is ultimately irrelevant. Trion should not have released it early for continuity purposes. They did screw up.

It's been talked about for about two weeks here in the forums and Trion has been hinting at someone from the show coming to the game for longer. It kind of was down to two characters really. Trion were trying to be cagey about it, but after last weeks preview for tonights episode, it was very apparent that it was Rynn. That is not to say that a significant percentage of people who play have viewed those threads, or that it should even be an issue. This content should not have been released before the show, and the only reason that anyone would think that it was ok to play it was under the assumption that it was a tie in that lead up TO the show, not the other way around. We've all been expecting a two way street on content cross over since the pre show content had been removed for the sake of a continuous timeline.

First of all I never said Trion doesn't care.

And no, I didn't read the blog post, and never watched the launch trailer, and I am betting that the majority of the players did not read the blog either.

No one should be expected to be combing through hearsay while both playing the game, and watching the show. That's just asinine. No product should require forum attentiveness from its consumers to avoid the f ups created during production.

Sure it does. When you mouse over it *gasp* Espisode Mission. Why are you blaming Trion for your inability to manage your recreation?

You are intentionally missing the point. Re-read what people are actually upset about, and stop spewing the same irrelevant garbage.

I actually agree, it was a slight slip up to release it early. Ideally it would have been right after or during the first airing of the episode in the earliest timezone of any given servers region. Its minor enough though I dont care that much if they release it early for some practical office reason that I don't particularly need or care to know.

    Why not?

Maybe Trion employees don't want to work at 9pm at night to enable the content? It also allows them to address issues that may occur faster than if they did it at night.
