Shotguns are not a problem in pvp at all, if you get killed by a shotgun you have put yourself in that situation to get killed by one. There are plenty of way to counter a shotgun and if you can't you simply suck and can't play pvp at all.
THE BIGGEST problem is CLOAK its TOO OP and with a shotgun it makes it even more OP it should have a tell like footsteps or something and the 30% damage perk you can get to add to it is just stupid as hell. Also all the competitive maps promote shotguns but the funny thing is the amount of times I've seen useless noobs run in a close quarters area with a assault rifle and they wonder why they get a nano to the face. IMO i think they should put up the falloff damage of AR and LMG's so there a lot more effective at range, if you have a shotgun its useless at range and a ranged weapon would kill you quickly. ITS YOU who are FEEDING KILLS TO SHOTTY USERS with your stupid decisions. my tip? stop being a sheep and following everyone...pick your guns wisely knowing that a noob cake with shotty/cloak is probably going to be in the match with you if you have a AR or LMG hold back pick your shots and watch the kills role it
USE OTHER NOOBS AS BAIT: In competitive i do my own thing..if someone is going in to a area thats a bit quiet watch him from a safe distance but STILL MOVE AROUND EVEN IF ITS LEFT TO RIGHT and hold back! he might get attacked by a cloak scrub, then make your move on the cloak and hammer that kid into the ground.
CLOAKIES ON FIRE: Fire Effect will send a cloak on either a frantic bullet wasting mess or a how many rolls you can do it 5 seconds sort of thing...USE IT TO YOUR ADVANTAGE send the skilless noob into the ABYSS!
Sniper rifles are near to useless in pvp no aim assist and when you are lucky enough to get a kill you might as well put on a fire work display as to show the world where you are solution?>>>>>>TAKE AWAY KILLCAM ITS FREAKIN POINTLESS, is there REALLY any point seeing the person who killed you's back its pathetic and since there are only 2 high points on waterfront you have not got a lot of choice as to where to sit. TAKE A KILLSHOT AND MOVE TO THE NEXT VANTAGE POINT because you bet your sweet buns that the cloak scrub you just killed studied the killcam as to where you are and is currently climbing that ladder behind you with a nano clip with your name on it.
The IMMUNIZER is a little OP but its still easy to kill with the right tactics i don't agree with the homing range with more range when you get it to level 15 and more range if you get stalker keep it at 40 homing range ONLY if its a must.
CLOAKIES IN SHADOW WAR: if a capture point looks to quiet don't run in your not rambo and the likely hood of a cloakie has spotted you from a mile away and figured out that your coming to capture it..you bet your sweet buns that he's gone invisible especially for you....instead if something looks to quiet scout it out...do a drive by a few times make sure its safe to go there and if there are enemies there how to deal with them effectively..like for example if i was scouting B and i saw 5 enemies and out of those 5 was a Immunizer kid...his first on my wtfpwned list.
ADAPT AND OVERCOME. Don't keep going the same ways, don't keep doing the same things. look at what your up against and counter it anyway you can.
A BIT TO QUIET?. If you're running around a pvp map and theres nothing going on..dont run in a straight line...bunny hop till your legs break and keep shooting in different directions JUST INCASE. IT WILL SAVE YOU.

DETORNATORS: USE IT ON CLOAKS AND WATCH THEM DIE.
HIT BOXES ON ATVS and the INFAMOUS INVISABLE CERB. hit boxes on Atvs are too high and as for the cerb...enough said.
USE ALL OF THE ABOVE. Take it all in and use it...see how you do see what your doing wrong and tea bag cloaks till they rage message you.
you can now play PvP and proof that its not shotguns that are OP its Cloak, and the fact you suck really does not help.
AND if you use cloak and shotgun..i will find you...and i will tea bag your bullet holes till the sun rises 4000000 times...( the only thing i like about the killcam...knowing that the cloak you've just dropped is watching you tea bag his face )
if all else fails stay the hell away from pvp you hell bug matron killing drip, and stop posting QQ post's on forums.
