Shield best one?

So which brand name is the best type of shield to use?

I 'm looking for one that takes less time to power up the most I've come across are at 3 seconds.

PVE or PvP? Completely two different set ups for both. I like fast recharge (respark) in PVE, high capacity (ironclad) is what is probably best for PvP.

Once you start getting high ego the respark III and above shields start getting <3 seconds. Lowest I've seen is 2.65

Respark base recharge is 3 seconds. It think its a combo of ego level and color that will reduce it. I didn't see a sub 3 seconds till after ego 1000.

Yes Resparks tend to have a 3 second delay or lower with a 40% recharge rate once it starts recharging. It's not really a different setting but it's just what people tend to prefer for each gametype.

The rarer the color the lower the delay unless the shield comes with some sort of bonus (like Respark Reloader). Some shields will get different stat boosts though by color. Hurricanes for example might get a boost to recharge rate from color while Ironclads or Rhinos might get a capacity boost. And as you increase in EGO shields should generally have slightly more capacity.

Yep think that's the base Respark V orange with no bonus. I know a lot of people want the Respark Regenerator V with 100% health regen but that 2.4 delay seems just as good imo.

I roll a purple Respark IV with a 2.55 delay sometimes and even that is just crazy good. Versus my purple Respark Regenerator with a 3 delay I can really notice the delay difference.

okay I have a shield with 2.65 delay but, I can't remember what it is with 10%
I have a purple shield but it has a 6 delay but, 80%.

I would have to check when i get on but my shield i believe has a delay of 2.85, 40% recharge rate and a 25% Health Regeneration bonus
Resparks are definately some of the better shields

the one i got is working for pve and pvp, a orange ironclad IV ex or something like that, 1572 with a 9.6 10% recharge. You can take hits for days
