Another nerf to a farming method

Farming is not something developers intend for you to do. A nerf is a balance. This was a fix.

That statement makes no sense at all.

"farming" occurs in any game with currency. It's essentially the efficient way of obtaining currency for something you want. It's a part of any game where currency matters from Skyrim to World of Warcraft. There are tons of different currencies in Trion's Rift to "farm" and they don't reduce the effectiveness of it to annoy players. In fact they've done the opposite making farming currencies/rep easier.

Is it fair to me to get dropped from the server in the middle of an arkfall, return to the game, and not have the arkfall present on the map and get nothing?

Is it fair to me to destroy the crystal and nothing happen afterwards letting time expire and getting nothing?

Is it fair to me to defeat the matron and get no completion reward?

Is it fair to me allow people to drive around the crystal killing the skitterlings because they want the pursuit kills?

Is it fair to me to get top spot and get anything less than 5 keycodes?

Is it fair to me to have the scrapper arkfall glitch with the hidden weakspot that's barely visible and waste a half hour while everyone attacks the front?

Was it fair to me to avoid scrapper arkfalls because it would reset my arkfall kill count?

People are supposed to play games for fun, not because they need to feel some sort of....For lack of a better word, achievement.

thats a major exploit if i ever heard of one. play the game as intended not cuttin corners..might as well monitor these morons in pvp as well. prob the ones that hack...

anyways glad they are fixing this events should either be interacted 50% for some credit or fully 100% completion. imo

Only if they do something about vehicles in Arkfalls. Otherwise scaling rewards based on damage and kills will just encourage more people to hop in a car and drive in circles. So not only would the be making the Arkfall take longer, killing your xp, and decreasing the number of drops like the do currently, but they would now be cutting into your completion rewards as well. This would make Arkfalls even more frustrating than they already are, and downright unplayable for some.

That will be a pretty easy fix in comparison - just make vehicle kills get no credit in arkfalls.

Because I think what happened to you is that those Arkfalls failed. The last few days this game has slowly deteriorated into a ****ing mess (even more so than usual). Crystals are literally not showing up at many of the arkfalls. Co-op maps feel more broken than ever too.

Y'know, I've literally never seen a game get worse over time. Didn't even know it was possible.

This is game really hit the bottom the last few days. My whole clan nonstop gets to or have to hard reset and when we can play the lag is bad often for menus... coop maps instantly to this game got so bad what are they doing.... They need to fix it instead of nerfing dumb stuff. Nerf those shotties in pvp already with cloak perk.

After an expansion of eve, for two weeks anytime two or more people jumped through a gate both players got in a deadlock and needed to restart the eve client.

You can imagine this was a problem when there were PvP battles and a thousand players need to jump through a gate in just a few minutes.

You'll have to forgive some of them, they're new to MMOs.

Granted, this happened back with Every Mmo Ever. Some people just like exploits, I guess.
