Since this game won't be overly graphic whorish in any instance ... I would think it would be fine. Especially since the next gen console games are going to be basically high end current PC games, so it isn't like they need a huge crystal tech ball to get their engines updated for it.

i am not sure where you got your information from, but they are putting a laptop gpu in the next gen consoles that is based on a 2007 architecture.

the PS4 will finally be able to draw a blu-ray picture native ( 1920x1080 @ 29.5 FPS ). currently the PS3 cannot even do that. the next xbox ( the 720 ) is expected to use the same GPU as the PS4.

the native resolution for the xbox 360 elite is like 360x180 ( 1/4 720 HD resolution @ 30 FPS ) and the PS3 is 480x270 ( 1/4 1080 HD resolution @ 30 FPS ). the PS3 CAN do blu-ray at 960x540 ( 1/2 1080 HD resolution @ 30 FPS ) as it changes at the software level over to no pre-proccessing mode (disabling advanced GPU functionality ) to devote more resources over to handling blu-ray decoding and display.

you may not have been aware of the above.

no, the next gen consoles will NOT be comparable to a computer. they WILL be comparable to a 4-5 year old PC laptop.
