    And some of us play guy characters in mmos just for the reason to do it and not to hide.

    I have several male characters on other games, between the look, outfits, and just to be different but not to hide from men. I happen to like guys better in general, I have more in common with them half the time than girls - but then those types of girls hardly play games.
