Doubtful for the near future as the pc version is DirectX based.
You will probably be able to run it with Boot Camp or one of the other PC emulators. I'm not sure if anyone has tried it yet for the Beta to see how well it does.
No official response, but it is possible potentially. However at this time, No.
If you have a newer Mac you can always Boot Camp, Alpha and Beta have played wonderfully on my iMac with boot camp.

I tried to run it on VMWare Fusion (Windows XP) and it wasn't playable. I couldn't get it to run at all on Crossover or with Wineskin.
Poor mac users. just load up your old school flying toasters and have a white castle burger.
