Anyone Actually Try at Arkfalls?

I'm not complaining at how pointless is can be.

But for the last month, I've only seen one person crack 2mill. And the 2nd place person barely cracks 1mill usually. I know the rewards aren't a perfect system, but does anyone besides me try for Pride or whatever?

If I do an arkfall, i'm in it for the whole time, not some shoot and dash, but I want to finish it, I want to come first. And I do usually with double or triple the score of the second pace person. (average nearly 4mill)

There is no EGO or ego boost for me from my position on the list, so while I do TRY, the try is to maximize loot and minimize hassle.

Lately I've tried speeding up the arkfalls by using a ground pounder on the Matrons, but maybe some folks have late-game weaponry because some Matrons are going a lot faster than others. When I'm not in a hurry, I just use my Incubator on random bugs so I have ammo lying around for the final kill. Darn annoying when I run out.

But hey, if #1 gets you an orange someday, then I'm all for using whatever weapons and/or perks that boost my place on the list. Otherwise, no big deal...

I do sometimes, only to attempt the kill shot on the boss for my pursuits. Also they can be fun, or keep you busy for like 15 minutes or so.

3 to 4 million when I want to go for first or scrape up some mob xp, get some loot, nail off some pursuits too"regular participant"
But sometimes I just grind other emergencies and swing by to maximize xp and time spent for rewards. I did a dozen or so emergencies once and than swung by 4 Different arkfalls "2 major 2 minor independent" at the very end(s) and within 5 minutes I got almost 25 000 xp plus those emergencies and 5 keys. i was happy

p.s: but no I don't try...I've just had time with the game ..shoot the criticals.done.

Yes, I always try and finish an Arkfall, I need the keys and the scrip. However, lately it has been rather difficult because, *ahem, Trion has yet to fix the major Arkfall non-appearing crystal/boss & scrapper armature hidden heat sink issues.

yes..if i can get there sorta fast i almost always win lol..highest damage so far has been 6.6 million,but i usualy average 3-5

Hidden heat sinks are just an added challenge! Also, when there's a distinct 'lack-of-crystal' Christmas comes early for the vehicular ark hunters.

I don't even bother, I fire non stop and kill dozens of mobs however when the curtain drops I do zero dmg with 2 kills

funny cause ground pounders are crappy against matrons during arkfalls... at least every time i see a bunch of people using them it dies slow.. and when i used one it would almost never hit her... lmgs and any other straight up dps wep is best... just keep hittin her as fast as you can... and dont get distracted by the other bugs.
