havent been able to find shadow war match for 2 days already

I've stopped playing shadow war a little while ago. Between the lag and getting runover...... I'd rather do a pvp map.

Maybe I'll give it a try again tonight.

As a console player, I've really given up on them as well, and I used to do them quite a bit. The problem is on consoles the fps lag is pretty bad a lot of the time.... and it kinda ruins the competitive game play seeing as any delay in pvp can easily cause your death.

Got into at least 3 last night. /friend people you know who do shadow wars then check your friends list for people in shadow wars or waiting in queue then use the "Join" friend button. It should either place you in their war or queue. I only use the quick menu for shadow wars when I see one on the map (drive into the purple circle and queue up, will place you into the ongoing war)... other than those few I see pop up on the map all the other ones are joined through friends list.

I'm pretty sure the problem is that people don't know to join pvp. I just wish there was some way for the devs to tell players how to join the queue, regardless of what mode they're in, every time they play the game.

I've entered PvP a grand total of two times and both were shadow wars and both were over within minutes of me joining. The experience left a bitter taste in my mouth and add that to the extremely generic shooter mechanics already present in Defiance and I have absolutely no interest in PvP. I'll get my PvP fix from a game that specializes in it like BF3 or something. I think a lot of people feel the same way; not a single friend on my friends list bothers with PvP in Defiance. We love the hell out of co-op and group PvE though.

It always sitting 20 ppl waiting to fill in and i found myself waiting like 2 hours to find a game until i run out of patient and instead joining tdm queue.

Not sure if its bug or no one really join queue. Sw is my prefer mode rather than pvp .

Please let me know if you guys are like me

The problem is TDM spawns faster, they should let us que for both SW and TDM and not un-que us when we join a TDM

Other side of the world. I feel the same way about co-ops that you do about pvp. Pve is just to damn mindless, and redundant for me and most of my friends list. Every single friend of mine are almost always in queue or in a match. Generally have about 50 people doing various pvp on my list during prime time. Even now at 7:30am pst there is at least a dozen on my list all pvping. Funny I used the same "bitter taste" analogy describing co-ops last night with the clan.

How do they not know how? Do they not see the big font advertisement about PvP from the server?

I have always gotten into PvP within 1-2 min...either deathmatch or shadow wars, done ton of both....sux people are having issues

I know your not on PS3 NA. We get the shadow wars all the time. Most time I press right to quueue in and one is already going on. I also think ps3 only has a 40 queue minimum though. At the end of the war I only see 20-23 people on each team.

I am on a NA PS3 and I can say that this is false information. I can sit on Defiance during "Prime Time" (roughly 4+ hours 5:30PM-2AM EST) queued for a Shadow War and never get it in any zone.

I did however "get in to one" once back near launch, by "get in to one" I mean as soon as I loaded the match ended.

Have never been in one since, I gave up trying to get into Shadow War as it never got below "Waiting for 25 more players."

I managed to play a shadow war..... twice. Not that I really care that much. Frankly, I disliked the amount of times I got run over by someone's truck or quad and it irritated me. I don't want to play something that can cause me to rage quit and potentially switch off my xbox.

To me, Shadow Wars aren't worth it.
