New to Defiance Q. About Boosts on the store

Hi Guys, I have just picked up a new copy off Defiance today for ps3, Loaded it up and before i get going i just wanted to know before i purchase store bits is that is there any bugs regarding the 'Boosts' you can buy, am looking at the Self Boosts,

Only Asking Because I have read that the game has a few problems i dont mind a bug or two but if iam going to buy in-game credit i need to check, Thanks inadvance

The only bug concerning boosts that I'm aware of is for the clan loot boost. The self boosts have worked just fine for me. If it makes you feel any better, any bugs I've encountered so far were handled fairly by by Trion.

But at this moment in time i have no bits to spend because after the purchase i got a Error Message and now i have to wait for CS to get back to me -- Not the best way to start after only having the game a couple off hours

The timer for boosts does not stop when you log off. SO, if you get a boost, be ready to play for a while. Don't buy Clan boosts until you see a a fix to it in some patch notes. Apparently Clan boosts will take your bits and not give you any boost.

You'll save yourself a lot of frustration by not waiting for your ticket to be answered. Just immediately contact live chat at:

The in game ticket system is very messed up right now and lots of tickets, half a dozen for me, haven't been answered in over a month and a half since launch. I'm recommending no one use the cash shop until they completely overhaul it because there have been so many problems with people not receiving what they've paid actual money for. Good luck and welcome to the game, I really do hope things get worked out and you enjoy it....we need all the people we can get!

DO not buy anything unless you actually want to play the game. Just remember you will be doing the exact same thing everyday. If you don't like that then this game will not be fun for you.

Sorry to hear that. Not a great first impression, to be sure As someone else posted, the live chat seems to be the fastest way to get results. For me, the in game support has taken anywhere from a few days to a week+ to get resolved. Good luck, and I hope you have a better experience going forward.

all the boosts have worked fine for me and my clan. the money coming up as error then contact chat support (much quicker and resolves it immediately) Also yes the game has some bug issues but they have been getting worked out and is already much better. And yea as someone else said a lot of stuff is the same most days but you work towards new things slowly and the dlc is coming out very soon so there will even more to do

Depends on how much time you have to play. Between Arkfalls, Pvp, Co Ops, and general MMO jacking off; I haven't had time to do all the content given.

Loving the Game, already pumped in about 6 hours of gameplay on day 1 very addicting, Thanks for all the info guys
