Mute or volume option for EGO

I'll just come out and say it. If I wanted constant nagging I would talk to my wife.
All joking aside I'm far enough into the game where the EGO is now just annoying.
I know how to beat a ARC FAll and so on.
So I would love to see and option to just turn her down or off.
I've talked to some people and they agree so if you agree or disagree please post here.
I would love to see what people think.
An hopefully get the option in the game.

Makes me wanna play with the volume down some days.
Option in sound controls would be fine.

Totally agree, even an option for less verbose would help.

There is a Character Speech Volume slider in the Audio tab of the Settings menu. Unfortunately all character voice overs are linked to that option. It means if you turn the slider all the way off, you won't hear EGO's nagging, but you also won't have voice overs during cinematic cutscenes either.

if you turn npc voices down you get a beep every time they want to say something, but its a nice relief from ego telling me about events I drove past 30 seconds before. I can read the sub titles & can always turn the npc voices up if doing story missions.

I wouldn't mind it half as much if, like during arkfalls, she wasn't on near constant repeat. Even toning it down to 'I'm detecting advanced weaponry nearby' to every minute instead of every 10 seconds would be amazing.

The option to turn down character voices is kinda hit or miss because I guess if your doing a story mission or episode for the first time it's not like you've heard it a hundred thousand times over and want to mute the character volume, however having said that I would personally wish we could turn the EGO off COMPLETELY no little pop up screen on the game with her going "We should help these farmers" when we've literally helped them/been there a good thousand times... I actually find when alot is going on in the game and it's slightly lagging I found the little pop up coming up adds to the strain on the game and lags you even more so.
