How much have you spent on Bits?

For the time this game occupies it would cost a lot more if I did something else.
To each his own if u earn ur money u have every right to spend it how u see fit.


My problem was with the guy making assumptions cause of what I spent. When in all reality he made him self look like a unsuccessful person by making what I spent to be some huge amount. You can have what ever hobby u want and spend what ever u want on it but if u look at 7k as a lot of money while having a wife and kid and ur wasting ur time on a video game then u r a compete fool not me...
My money is fine my house and 2 vehicles r paid off. I have plenty of money saved and invested for retirement.
This guy can't even properly support his family and he's playing games... Yet I'm the idiot? Lol

I agree. Of course what you spend on bits does not affect me in any way so I really don't care what the amount is. However, sharing what you've spent, as all have done in this thread, allows for others to have opinions on your bit spending. So don't tell me that I shouldn't care because its his money, because ultimately I really don't CARE. But... I find it interesting, so I will comment my opinion on it. I think you're an idiot as well, lol. Not because you've spent 7k on a game like others are saying, but because you've spent 7k on THIS game. For someone to spend 7k on this game is laughable to me. That's because you HAVE to be an idiot to not realize this game is doomed for failure, and to put 7k stock into such a game is just plain stupid. I'm just saying, once servers shut down, probably soon, you will understand that you pretty much threw 7k away. I could understand if you spent that money on an MMO that will actually last, but doing so in Defiance, is really just interesting to me, like, why..

Everyone should quit buying boxes till they put the rate back to the way it was.....
I went from a average of 3 per$50 spent to 1.....
I have opened so many boxes with the same rate that there is no way they can say it wasn't lowered

it's been raided so, yeah, the drop rate is on minimum. It's like a casino with super tight slots.

Some people really do just have that kind of disposable income. Video games aren't just for the poor, even though I will clearly state lol that I am. Something I think people should take into consideration with his spending habits for the game is this. His disposable income tells us to hold off and not buy lock box's at the moment if $20.00 is a lot for some to spend. Instead of judging him for what he is doing he just learn from it and know not to buy bits for lock box's.

Now this is where ur the idiot not me.. I know this may be hard to grasp but try for me.... The 7k was thrown away soon as I spent it I had no cares if the game lasted or not.. Read everything I typed in this thread. That money comes out of my play money which is meant to play with... I could have made little hats with the bills and gave them away and not cared cause I set it aside just to screw around with... Ill say this for the 90th time some ppl have more then others. Ill say this again as well if ur money isn't right why the hell r u on a video game instead of making money?

I been telling everyone lock rates have been lowered and not to buy. I have opened over 3000 boxes and it went from 3-5 per $50 sometimes higher depending on luck to 0-1 per $50. Last $350 I spent got 1 orange gun. Ppl who make decisions in this game r morons cause I went from 8k a month on this game to not spending at all.. If they want my money again rates will be brought back to normal.

I would agree with the loot situation but let me make a suggestion. and this is something you could try because I don't have the funds to play around with it. But post patch when everyone who pre-ordered had their boosts back. I had enough key codes for tier II lock box. I chose the tier II lock box and received my first Legendary gun. Then the server's went down and they did a roll back. You could try the loot boosts in with with the lock box's. It was either coincidence or the boosts really do help with loot. On a side note I believe it is boosts that majorly up your chances at orange. Because I've been playing sense beta and alpha and that was my first Orange of the game.

I've used 240 bits out of 400 just for inventory slots! Everything else is too expensive. Now that I bought those slots, when my EGO levels it say I got 4 new slots but they aren't there. I sent a ticket two days ago and still no response. Until I get my ticket back I won't use the rest of my bits.

UPDATE! Got a message back, and it was actually very nice! I still get the, you got 4 new inventory slot that comes up, but my inventory count is right! What I gather is you get 40 inventory slots and if you want more you have to buy them, I think!!...
