Agree.
There are two types of posts in the 'pissed off category:

1.) "I'm holding my breath, you meanies".
B.) 'This is what's broken, and why I believe it's broken'.

The first gets ridicule and scorn.
The second gets people realizing they're not the only one with a prob, and maybe there are ways to tune it up....

people had,have high hopes for every new game, they get higher each generation,
expecting something totally new, super looking.

I have to disappoint you, the games will use the same old game engines, same old texture compression methods, same old scripts over and over.

And the small games that try to invent something new - a new game engine ,fail in early development stages, because of no backup and lack of senior developers.

Bigger companies that try that, will take years of completing the game, at the time its out, everything is outdated.
