This is just a possibility I thought to post due to some people referencing Rift's F2P status with the layoffs.
There is a belief that the layoffs could have been because of Rift going F2P.
I see it as likely Rift going F2P alongside the layoffs due to financial issues. (this would also explain why it was so sudden).
