Missing Synergy mods?

Help?

I am totally lost at this point. I see dozens of guns daily on special at the vendors, with these amazing synergies: Cannoneer, Grenadier, and (the ones I'm seeking) Rolling Thunder.

I have yet to see anyone post that they have been able to locate these mods in-game. Mod caches, Hotshots, Rampages... nothing.

Has anyone personally received one of these mods yet? If so, where are they located?

If not... doesn't anyone else find that odd? I've pretty much convinced myself at this point that they're not actually in the game (yet??...Sledge??...Myll_Erik??)...

I'd love for someone to prove me wrong.

Edit: I should probably mention, I will pay obscene amounts of Scrip for 2 or 3 pieces of SMG/AR/LMG Rolling Thunder mods...you know, just in case I'm wrong and they do exist.

I just kind of assumed they were planning on rolling out the mods soon after the game release, and they'd slip a little more in every day or so.

But when your schedule gets hung up on step '3', it blows the whole timeline from there out.
I don't think step '3' (my arbitrary reference point, for the sake of discussion) delays the roll-out, I think it had enough of a problem that they aborted the roll-out and hoped to jumpstart the roll-out again when they got step '3' ironed out.

Just my opinion.

There are inconsistencies with what they're saying in regards to mods.

A blog posts says they can be found throughout the world, a CM says they're random drops, and another blog post says they're from side missions and vendors. So who knows what to believe.

Just find it funny that you have to grind rep for mod caches and end up getting mods for guns the vendor doesn't even sell.
and how regular resource mod caches only give brutal mods. ( i have actually never seen a gun with a brutal synergy on it despite the numerous mod caches i've bought that only give brutal mods)

I thought so too but I ended up getting a purple rocket with brutal on it, seems silly but hey. Also have a bio rocket orange that is run and gun. O.o Seems out of character but they do exist.

I have guns with brutal synergy.

But yeah there are some mods that I have yet to find or see...i.e. Assassin, Cannoneer, Rolling Thunder, etc.

I concur with everything that's being said. I've read the blog posts and heard what I feel like is the rhetoric about "they're out there". I just don't think that's true.

I think it's probably more along the lines of what Crasher suggested: they intended to add these mods, but haven't actually added them yet... which sucks, because we sit here with unmodded weapons waiting for the stuff we're looking for.

Short story, and the reason behind this line of questioning: I picked up an amazing purple SAW the other day. Incendiary nano effect, 15% grenade recharge on kill, x1.03 fire rate- with Rolling Thunder... a 4pc Rolling Thunder mod set would add 15% Mag size, and 30% Hip Accuracy. In short, this gun would become disgustingly awesome.

I'm stuck searching for these mods, and I really want to know if they're even out there.

Highly unlikely, but I'm not going to comment on it further; there are half a dozen other threads for that.

Personally, I was hoping the rep vendors mod packs were the key to these "missing" mods. A quick search of the vendors however, shows that they are singular: each rep vendor has a specific type of mod they give out. Honestly, it's starting to feel a bit like a wild goose chase.
