Don Senilo names and shames that.
Must I have the same avatar forever? This is the only avatar I used that doesn't resemble a clown but he has a joker card in his mouth so I suppose that is good enough. Previous avatar was a clown in a suit.

You won't get this as I believe it was said in another thread but I am a Clown Magician King of a supposed Empire of Madness and the Head honcho to the Clown Family.

I am more than just a mere clown.

Buttons will get me some cookies from my hat. Magic cookies and not the kind the hippies used to eat either.

But...it was the first game I've ever played that had DLC. And I ****ing hate DLC. I think it's the worst creation ever to happen to video games. My perfect example is Fallout 3. Made by the same people that made Elder Scrolls, but it's sooooo tiny compared to Elder Scrolls. Same exact type of game, like 1/4th the amount of stuff in it. Why? Because of stupid DLC! They don't want to give you such a large game because they're saving all the stuff they've worked on for DLC so they can charge more.

Yeah there's some games that still give tons of content and then extra DLC. But unfortunately most games these days give you a very small amount of content, and then they very quickly (like almost always within 2 months of release) put out a DLC for you to pay more money for. It's such a greedy system. There's even games that have DLC AT LAUNCH! Like, really? I just paid $60 for your brand new game and you've already got a $10 add-on, and you expect me to believe that it's actually an add-on and not just something you held back so you could charge more for it?

So I hate Fallout 3 because to me it started all of this. I beat that stupid tiny little game in less than 24 hours. And yes, when I say beat, I mean I had 100% of achievements completed. Every. Single. One. In less than 24 hours of release.

Same thing with Defiance. Disappointing how tiny the game is in terms of storyline/side content, but it's supposed to be ok because they've got DLC coming that you can spend more money on. It would be ok if their free updates weren't so piddly. But they're nothing but data recorders that take 20 minutes to complete every 3 weeks.

Fallout and all these DLC games can kiss my ***. Give me a complete, huge game, with enough content to keep me busy for an entire year (add free updates if you have to) and then sell me an expansion every year. That's the good way to do it.
Only one DLC pack added on to the story and the rest were more or so can be considered expanisons since you left the Capital Wasteland, and don't blame you 100% Achievements that require you to beat quest and it was made in like I dunno 2006 not a lot of DLC cash cows were out then and since i'm a fan of the first two Fallouts and the spin off Fallout games I liked Fallout 3, hated Fallout NV because it felt less exciting then Fallout 3 even though a lot of the features added were great and I really liked those, weapon modding, armor making, iron sights, unique weapons were actually unique.

I beat Fallout 3 in 2 hours if you know the short way and walk to the garage! The Elder Scrolls is completely different compared to Fallout one is set in a mythical land of Dragons, trolls, giants, UNICORNS; DO NOT SAY THEY WERE NOT IN TES THEY ARE. And all that jazz and the other set in a Post-apocalyptic from a nuclear war with the Chinese.

What possible game can keep you busy with enough content for a year on day one? None that I know of.

Oblivion had DLC.. you said you like TES soo... and that was released before Fallout 3 just saying..

I for one put 200 hours in on Fallout 3 before restarting it and doing it over a few times. Same with New Vegas.

If you count grind as content, then try Ryzom. Maxing out all possible skills took the first player to achieve it somewhat around 7 years.

Nobody has ever heard of Ryzom <3
    Sandbox MMORPG.
Free download, P2P, is actually OpenSource and supports a native Linux-Client.
