Step 1: fix game into a stable state.
Step 2: define stable state is a game that is NOT a broken mess of coding but a well greased machine.
Step 3: Add promised content and end game so people have a GOOD reason to keep coming back. Rewards oranges or unique gear found only through the raids like armor from Hellgate: London!!! I wish. I sometimes wonder if me bringing up that game jinxed this one. That is another with plenty of potential and it spun it's wheel digging it's own grave =(

Heck half the reason I play this game because of the heavy armor sets and the clan I joined. The other I am still waiting on =)

After about a week of playing Defiance I too kept seeing reflections of Hellgate: London and posted several times how I felt, so you're not the only one to blame if there was a jinx here. And tonite, after my kids are in bed and all the lights are turned low and I have my headphones on so as not to disturb anyone I'll mix a drink and raise a toast to commemorate one of my all time favorite PC shooters: Hellgate: London. I hear some Korean company owns HG and has some servers running but just like an ex-girlfriend it's best to stay away from that which broke your heart.
