You should check out Rift when it goes free to play in mid June. I think your attitudes regarding Defiance will change completely then. You could go check out Neverwinter Online right now though. There are plenty of truley massive real deal good MMO's out there to try. I think once you see what's available you'll have higher expectations when defiance claimed the MMO title.

I agree with the OP, thanks trion. With regards the console comments and all the hate aimed at console users in general. I develope games for PC and console, I have done for years. There are some games I prefer to play on console, some I prefer on PC. Consoles have their place, and if we can get games that span all platforms, that is surely a better thing? I personally would love more games to not only be available on different platforms, but also be available CROSS platform. Im sorry to hear about trions financial situation, and as a developer I certainly hope those let off get back on their feet soon. I also look forward to the first "massive" dlc for defiance. Oh, and I have played everything from guild wars, through ultima online, matrix online and WoW, and this is the smoothest and most stable MMO to be released I have come across (in terms of time out, and how much has been fixed). Hell WoW is still broken, and will continue to be broken until Activision decide its "profitable" to fix it.

was matrix any good? i thought about it back in the day but never bothered was into a few others at the time, was it anything like gunz online?

(edit: gunz online being pretty unsuccesful run on walls/parkour 3rd person shooter)

Never played Gunz, Matrix was great fun, was clunky and made me scream at times, but was interesting at least. Would have loved to see it succeed and actually take off for more than a small clique game. Same with guildwars though.

probably couldnt keep up with the play style of it now lol, even guildwars 2 is difficult for pvp when your using a tv as a monitor and have to balance a keyboard on ur lap and a bedside cabinet as a mousepad but its all worth it i suppose just for the big screen 3d pc gaming luxury, need 1 of those adaptors so i can use my xbox controller instead

Meh after IGunz shut down and other things came up most left IjjiGunz anyway not many still play ( I don't think ). Also I hate that but it's the only way to really play lol.

If somebody says "good job guys, you just got more than half of your team fired" it is nothing more than hypocrisy.

Sure you can say "do not give up, we are still supporting the game", but "good job" and "thank you" ? Nope.

EDIT: I have just tried to log into the game. Fifteen minutes after writing this post. CRITICAL ERROR. Servers not available. So there you go. Still want to pat them on the back ?
