$30 for the game and $15 for the season pass. I believe I notched a little over $90 on Steam through the US site and feel really let down by the game.

I would think this game would be upwards of $20. But, to have such a high price tag, you would think the updates would be coming out at a quicker pace. Even just small patches. The Freight Yard is Back!? After a day or two it was gone again...I keep reloading two or three times before I get to use my weapon. Sometimes my weapons cycle through after one shot. The game is fun, but the bugs don't justify the price.
I look at the value of a game not only based on the quality of the content but also the longevity of the game-play. How many hours have I spent playing it before I became bored or completed it.
Here is a run down of a few of my purchases this year, what I paid and was it worth it:
Max Payne 3 - 78.00 USD (7800 yen) - The quality and the storyline was well worth the money. Though it only lasted me around a week or so, I felt fulfilled by the end of it.
Guild Wars 2 - 68.00 USD (6800 yen) - Not impressed. To me this was just another mundane game with a very linear character building system. I played for perhaps a week and gave it up in the end as a result of boredom. The richer you are the better your experience.
Kerbal Space Program - 30.00 (2800 yen) - superb game, while not graphically impressive it kept me entertained for hours upon end and still does today. Always something new to do and keeps it very creative.
Defiance - 59.99 (6000yen) + DLC pack - I have played this for countless hours and am yet to get bored of it. The non-linear style of character building (you aren't forced to fight certain things at certain levels) made it all the more interesting. The numerous co-op maps just added to the enjoyment. Driving around endlessly and clearing roadblocks never gets boring for me. I am still learning about the game right now and there is still a lot more content to come.
Defiance was well worth the cost in my opinion. The prospects for the game look promising so there is only better things to look forward to.

9,99 at most.
I think $39.99 would have been the better price or maybe even a $60.00 bundle with in game store cash. I'm fine with the content as is for now. I'm more upset with the actual game play and PvP. For me Thursday will tell me how much I play this game with the 1.20 patch. Not complaining or even *****ing just going to let this game fade away if the core mechanics of it are not tightened up. Not much has changed from Beta/alpha Which I heavily tested both because I was tired of CoD.
Activate interlock! Dynotherms connected! Infracells up! Mega thrusters are go! LET'S GO VOLTRON FORCE!
We should be paid for testing the game anything more is to high. If they don't start fixing this junk soon i'm done with the game and the show.
If I were to judge it as it is now, I would pay 40$. However I'd like to think that the 60$ price tag includes all of the 5 free content DLCs (which we've seen a sneak peek of the first one having most of its content available for free). Although not likely, if Season 2 DLCs were to be released we would get that as well. Don't forget the episodic content albeit mundane and trivial so far.
I got confused and fell behind so quickly in this world that I don't even really know how to properly answer the question.
I watch every episode of the show and enjoy them, but I still have no real idea how the show ties into the game or what changes in what I'm supposed to be doing as a result of what happens in the weekly episodes. Then there was the thing about the missions changing each episode and this implication that I need to finish the entire list of missions within the 7 day episode interval and I really can't do this. So as a result, I never did finish the missions prior to the pilot and don't have any idea where I'm supposed to be now.
Others don't seem to be having that problem, so I can't say it makes the price harder to justify. All I can offer is that had I known prior to purchasing what I know now, I likely would not have done a CE preorder and instead would have just bought the regular game electronically like I did Skyrim and Mass Effect.
I still haven't even gotten my Challenger. To date the only advantage of CE was scaring the crap out of my woman with the Hellbug action figure.
Control is not convinced, but the compu-ter has the evi500 SERVER ERROR
