However condescending your tone is, I am inclined to agree with you, but for a different reason. Each of those games were developed by different teams, and as far as I know, coding knowledge isn't osmotic even if you do work for the same company as your predecessors. What you seem to be missing, however, is that typically, project management is handled by (usually) the same people, and so if a game is having the same issues as an earlier release by the same developer/in-house publisher such as SOE, it is a failure by management and department leads. Repeating the same mistakes each time a new IP is released suggests lax Q&A and management, plain and simple.
