Over 1199 ego purple LM43 Thunder with 0 mod slots, but 4 mod benefits available

Is this an issue? I have no problem shelling out the 120 large to add all four slots, but I wanted to make sure. I haven't seen an issue on the forums related to higher level weapons with no mod slots. I may have missed it though. Thanks.

The first slot is free. The second cost around 12k for your ego. Third around 30k. Fourth 40k.

It is strange that you found a 1000+ ego weapon without at least 3 slots open. I'm just over 1100 ego and most weapons I find now have all four or at least three of the four. exception being oranges, only seem to find two slots unlocked still.
