Layoffs never happen just because. Often it is because there isn't money to pay the individuals or a project that was projected to do well, didn't. Trion didn't lay these people off without good reason so don't get mad at them. They did it so they could stay afloat and continue to operate, otherwise they would be in the red and not be able to continue. Game devs take care of their own so these people will find a new home, just hope it happens sooner rather than later.
They are patching and have servers down today as well.
Okay so this "." is a period. It goes at the end of sentences. This "," is a comma. The description of where this goes is too long, but you can google it. This "A" is what happens when you hold the shift key while pressing a letter. We call it a capital letter and starts sentences. I would throw in a question mark, but you seem to know where that one is. There is a quote in my signature you may want to check out.
"There are two things that are infinite, the Universe and human stupidity. I am not sure about the Universe." ~Frederick Pearle

at end of the day the gaming indistry isnt known for job security what trions doing is nothing new and also what you need to remember is that the game is released so the people who worked on the game dont really have anything to do you cant really expect trion to pay people to come in to work and sit at there desk all day thats just life and the way companys go this is nothing new and its all about maiking money and not wasting it and paying people to still work after the jobs finished no matter how buggy it is would be silly
lol im glad everyone started having a friendly convo on this thread instead of a argument thanks guys
