Kolbalt, Dewalt, Skil, and many so old they never came with labels. We always have it in our head it's easier for us to try and fix it than to pay someone. My wife works admin or a construction company so we get "borrowed" things too.

i am currently reading through the 21 pages but this is SOOOOOOOO 100% right on. Its a messed up world for this generation of gamers. Nothing satisfies them it seems.

The young gamers being griped about didn't develop the internet. It was older people who developed and expanded it. It's older people making the devices and, much of the time, older people buying the equipment and giving it to their children. To sit around in front of a computer screen and gripe about the younger people doing the same is a bit counter productive. Those who grew up with XBox's and PS's had them given to them (the majority of the time) by the adults in their lives.

If you give a young person a gun and don't teach them how to use and it's place in their lives, then you can't gripe if they end up using it for the wrong thing. Train them, don't gripe at them after you leave them to themselves and they don't end up like you think they should have.

Example: 'He son/daughter, you can play these games to keep you busy why I go do something else, and I'll buy you some new ones when these get old. Just don't bother me, I'm busy working hard so I can buy you these games and update your equipment when necessary.'

People here are wrong, they got more TVs than books and see we're it's taking us (not saying where "here" is lol)

Childfree home here - so it's not me. I don't even own a smart phone, mine is dull and stupid and actually makes calls.

very true...well it all boils down to is the gimme gimme gimme, now now now attitude that people have nowadays, which is sad cuz it hurts the gaming industry in the long run with games that come buggier than a trailor at a trailor park lol and not to mention put out with crappy graphics, half cocked story line and piss poor gameplay...it was like when riddly scott did alien, the producers were trying to rush him like crazy to finish the movie, but instead he took his time and ended up directing 1 of if not, the the best sci-fi horror movies ever ( had people passing out and other puking when ashes head got knocked off by parker, which was something never before seen in a horror movie ) till this day alien still holds its weight against more of the cgi type movies put out in theaters today....quantity is never better than quality but today people want more, and when they get it they want to complain about crappy it is...i think if people would pipe down a bit and let game devs put together a really awesome game regardless of how long it takes then people will truly see how time is paramount in making high quality games that last forever and that has a replay value thats through the roof...i think thats what made the older final fantasies such a huge hit, cant say much about the newer versions today but back then, maaaaaan, i was stoked to spend a month or 2 trying to get those hard to get items and max out my levels and inventory and then looked forward to the next installment of the series...today 1 cant be like that anymore cuz its pretty much all the same ol same ol, nothing new cuz everyone wants something now now now and that doesnt give devs much time to really sit down and peruse new ideas and gameplay and when they do, its released too early and with a lot of flaws and it cant really be blamed on the devs, but on the consumer and those providing the necessary funding to get it rolling...if i have to wait a yr or 2 for a game to come out then so be it, ive got plenty to keep me occupied till then, plus ill know that with it taking so long the game is gonna be better than expected due to devs taking the necessary time to make sure everything's gonna flow smoothly...thats what separates old school gamers from this gen of gamers...we know time is important to making a great game and could care less about media or social hype
