The entire area near the Sierra Nevada's is Silicone Valley. Microshaft is in San Diego, Apple, is in San Diego, Sony Online Entertainment is in San Diego. That IS Silicone Valley.

Noted, but I welcome the change, I was playing devils advocate but I think it's better for the community if we all get the update at the same time. And as for your edit, EVERY update, EVERY time there is server downtime people have and will continue to complain. Regardless of whether it's peak time or not.

If Trion patches at 2AM for each server location the complaints would be almost negated entirely. The only reason why Trion patches during the day is because they have to perform triage when none of their patches actually work properly.

Any time they pick someone will complain. People say to patch during 2-5am NA times well guess what. My boyfriend and his friends are more active during this time. Like I said anytime they do it people will complain.

That would still be a better choice for most people. I do feel the pain for the EU fans on their holiday not being able to play for 1.5 hours or so during prime time (evening hours).

Reasonable deduction, you implied you have special status and folks in the US do not. But to answer your question -- YES, because it is folks in the US that are putting in the hours, I would more than expect that those hours be more than reasonable and in their time-zone. If you would not, you have no empathy.

Oh nice, you can find wikipedia references. Did you even read past the first paragraph? Did you see all the companies headquartered in San Diego (including ones I mentioned) that it includes as part of "Silicone Valley"?
