The best way to solve this is Google: Front and center a map of silicone valley less than an HOUR from San Diego. Being it is still West of the Sierra Nevada's, I would definitely say this is part of the silicon valley as it still fits the geography and geology -- not to mention its technological headquarters including the West Coast's one of THREE public peers.

The Google map image validate us, not you. Also, nowhere on Sony's wiki does it mention Silicon Valley. At this point I honestly don't think you know where San Diego is actually located (hint: look near Mexico).

Oh really, because it sure sounded like you were making some demands there.

Oh yes, so just the folks in the US and UK gets special treatment then huh? That's not an exaggeration, that's using a micro-amount of common sense and deducting that if the US can't have its special treatment, then no one can.

So they extended to you your own patch times and they miss the mark once and you're enraged even after reports of 80% of the Defiance staff was laid off. You're a genius my man.

I know exactly where it is -- I've been there a few times, just north of the Gulf of California.. Sure, the map validates you because you haven't said that the valley was any further north than the bay area -- it validates me because it reaches far into southern Cali, again, 1 hour on I5.

Oh wait, the map clearly shows that what you say the valley was "centered" on is clearly not

You can't even get from LA to San Diego in 1 hour and 15 minutes (Google lists it at 2 hours). LA is not part of Silicon Valley. I'm done here, you honestly just need attention and have no clue what you are talking about.

Show me the demands. Or do you need longer to make them up? Perhaps you should consult an online dictionary.

Also, since Europe is basically GMT or GMT+1 the special treatment for the UK would affect everyone pretty fairly, but I wouldn't expect an American with a stick up his @$$ would have a clue about anything European.

And releasing a patch to be least annoying to the US is giving the US special treatment!

Please explain how this would adversely affect you in the slightest? Or are you just arguing to be a tool?

This would allow them to, if it happens, fix any problems that pop up with the patch if there are any.

If they waited till they are about to leave for work, well if there are problems who is there to fix it since everyone went home, so the problems will go unchecked for a way longer period of time. If they did it after everyone went home to match up with good times for other people, well then no one would be there to push the launch patch button, and then same problems will occur with no one being there to fix any problems.

Its common sense to do it this way, they are not doing it to be evil to anyone over there in Europe. If anyone from Europe made a game like this with patches, they would patch at times that it would be best for them. Most likely in the morning shortly after they got to work.
I appreciate that JBSteel and it does make a certain amount of sense, in particular with the costs of doing the patches for the company out of hours. However, separating the servers into EU and US under those circumstances is at best, nonsensical, if you are not going to treat each region according to their respective timezones. It would have made more sense to just have one server set and have done with it.
