Remember Von bach had a strange reaction when he held the arkcore. His eyes glowed white. This happed when we got it back for him when we killed Jackleg. His eyes also glowed white when nim took the arkcore from him and he picked up a gun and shot at Nim on the Golden Gate Bridge. He said he did not know what came over him and Nim through him off the bridge. Could he have some type of powers and be invincible?

but as you saw in the cutscene, he washed up on the beach and opened up his eyes. so the door is open.. now, if it is him, or merely the depository of whatever consciousness was in teh ark-core that has taken over his body via his EGO implant, we won't know.

Had to be the effect from him holding the arkcore. It might have done something to him. Why did his eyes glow and he could not control himself when he picked up the gun and shot Nim?

What platform are you on,because the cutscene on my ps3 did not show him washing up on the beach and opening his eyes.

I think he could be infected by some form of AI or may be the evil soul on Jackling Joe...who knows, may be we will become ultimate EVIL in the near future...

Good point,remember Jackleg did have the arkcore in his chest and it could contain the soul of Jackleg
