On PC you have lot of options to get your games on discount/sales (like steam). On consoles you don't have this option. Your only option to get a game cheaper, is to buy a used copy. If from now on, you can only get games on consoles for fullprice, that gonna kill of consoles. There is a reason there is a huge used marked. Lets face it most people cant afford to pay 60 bucks everytime they want a game.

It depends on which one gets better games. I own consoles for gaming reasons. Not for TV or social media bs. I won't make a decision until E3 but as it stands now I'll just be stick with my 360

The question is will you xbox folks need to buy a seperate drive
Myself i am actually pumped for the PS4, the new controller looks great
And the whole premise of start to play a game as soon as you start to download is interesting
more so also the integration with the Vita which lets face it needs some love.
Based from what i have heard Sony will again have the more powerful system spec wise
Mind you i also prefer MAC over PC so that may influence me as well do avoid Micro$oft, lol

PC here... And still PC for the next 10 years, since PS4 and XB1 are already outdated.

Don't forget the age old tradition of borrowing friends games.

Seriously, Microsoft shot themselves in the foot. They all but said "Hey core gamers, there's the door. Stay at home moms and NFL fans, welcome to our gam-pffft-gami-pfffttt Ha Ha Ha! I'm sorry, okay, our 'gaming console'."

My PC is outdated the second it leaves the store (or my workbench depending on if I built that version) and after 2 years playing something as simple as LOTRO is now a problem with all the tweaks and adds and graphical issues they have.

I can still play anything new on my PS3 without buying upgrades. I will votes PS3 over PC anyday.

What will affect my decision? Let's see...

    Pricing
    Healthy lineup of games
    Options

I'm open to buying either console (or even both), but I won't make the same mistake of being an early console adopter.
