PS4 or Xbox One? What will your affect your decision?

So just noticed this in Xbox one reveal.

All voice commands the guy had his left hand in pocket...

You tell me what that means, I think voice command will be clunky at best. Also where was the kinect at to catch hand movements I didnt see it.

Angry Joes review for Xbox one on youtube is pretty spot on SO FAR. Still need to see some actual GAMING info/gameplay to make my decision however.

So far....I am once again starting to hate Microsoft....and I may hop ship to playstation like back in the Ps and Ps2 days...

Xbox One seems to want to track you and focuses on two things. Gaining personnel information on your habits at all times and putting entertainment center above it being a game system by requiring you to log in least every 24 hours or even your single player games become coasters.
What happens when it's no longer supported? I don't like not being allowed to play my games because I lose my job in this horrid economy and have to wait til I get another decent job.

No PS4 for sure unless some thing change and don't get me going on being forced to buy a kenect.

If I were to be buying a console then it would have to be based on past reputations of the manufacturers.
Microsoft : They have consistently released the most powerful console without false promises and over hyping with things like pre-rendered scenes. Although their game library is not very good here in Japan and the availability of games is not as wide spread as the playstation 3.

Sony : Lied about the capabilities of the RSX Reality synthesizer in the PS2. Claiming that it could be updated via software to be faster and more powerful, claiming that it evolves with time. They showed per-rendered cut scenes at an electronics show and said they were real time graphics.
Lied about the capabilities of the PS3. Once again, hyping up the CPU architecture to be the best thing on the planet. Wowing people with the numbers which meant nothing in reality. Sony's machines have persistently come 2nd when it comes to power and capabilities. Again, they showed per-rendered video and claimed it to be real time graphics in a game. Their tactic of using 1080p, per-rendered video in games, in the hope that people would mistake it for actual graphics, was cheap in my opinion.
Sony have got where they are today, not only because they are a good quality manufacturer but mainly because they know how to hype something up. They are experts and hyping products and making people believe their claims. Heck, as far as I have read they even hire psychologists and other professionals to tap in to what makes us think.

The Next Gen
The Xbox One - To me this will be the winner. Even though they showed it as a set top box, I believe it's potential as a gaming system lies hidden and will surprise us all come launch. They did not go in to the detailed specifications of their machine during the show, which means to me that they could be incorporating newer advances in technology as time progresses. Microsoft also do not over hype their product with per-rendered scenes.

The PS4 -
Sony is at it again with their hype on this system. They have shown Watchdogs, running on a PC (admitted by staff) and some per-rendered scenes being made on a workstation PC for the next Final Fantasy. What people saw was so obviously somebody working on the intro or cut scenes for the game yet they still claimed it to be real time rendering on an actual PS4. They released specifications which detail a GPU not much better then a Radeon 7970, A CPU not much better than a AMD FX-85xx and GDDR RAM (I don't know why people got so stuck on GGDR as main memory GDDR5 stands for Graphics Double Data Rate - Series 5). What does this mean for the architecture of the PS4? It means it is like it's predecessor : it will seriously lack in the one important factor which gamers look for with next gen consoles : The ability to produce better graphics and smoother frame rates than it's competitor. Why say this : Sony has failed once before on RAM related specs. They "hype" word "GDDR5" was just a cheeky addition and I felt it was picking on people who don't know what it means. They have released very little information on the system's RAM and how it will work and I believe it is seriously going to be lacking in RAM dedicated to video hardware.

or you just wrote a 200 word troll........ since sony has yet to really "hype" anything since they began as a company.. in fact.. of all the electronics companies out there (which, btw, is one of the pioneering ones) it does the least advertising, to a fault. We would have had "HD" back in the 80's had their betamax taken hold instead of a inferior VHS format...

Regardless of what you think of Sony.. If you think they didn't hype the hell out of Playstation.. You've been in a coma.. Missing such things as gimmicked Killzone trailers and the ridiculous hype for the Cell processor.. Which had fanboys claiming victory all over the net... When they didn't even understand what it was.

It's disingenuous to say Sony doesn't do hype.. They're known for it in fact.
