There was absolutely no reason to reduce its effectiveness. They are going to make ridiculously low so that nobody uses it anymore. The current boost given is without a doubt a proper number. I really would love to sit down with whoever makes these silly decisions and discover their thought processes. They address little things like this that don't even post a problem and ignore all of the other major imbalance issues.

So this makes the second nerf to it.

Is it better to out-monster the monster or to be quietly devoured?

People used the Fortitude perk to handle a cloaked shot from the saw off shotgun. Now that the one shot kill is getting nerfed, I guess it was only time before they nerfed the 'must have' perk Fortitude to just another take it or leave it perk,

Now they just need to change Infectors, so rolling clears the DOT like it clears the other dots and more people will start using other weapons. The bugs are easy to shoot, the homing bullets do little damage, but the DOT that ends with a bug hatching for 605 damage is the killer.

If that could be cleared by a roll, (and therefore allows shields to recharge). It think that would fix it without breaking PVE

Why dont they just nerf or eliminate everything and give everyone a sock with flour in it?

Then we can all play 'Powder-tag', and squeal like kids running in circles.

Trion: You have a prob with something being too powerful in PVP: nerf it in PVP, or rewrite the game. Don't screw the people in PVE because you didn't think ahead.
    These are just my opinions.
    I have lots of opinions.
Some of them, on occasion, people have agreed with.
I do not trust those people.

This is just stupid. IMO, the TTK in PVP is already waaaaay too short. Defensive perks need to be strengthened, not weakened, so that it takes more than 1-2 shots to kill. This is the problem with PVP, and why everyone all shotty's and infectors. Make it take longer to kill your opponent and you might actually have proper fire-fights- and more people using other weapons.

Lol the 2nd nerf? Man that perk was actually useful in BETA, but the perk as is now is already practically useless. Lets nerf it and make it even worse! yay!

I have to say, reducing Fortitude made absolutely no sense to me. They took something that brought balance to the game and totally made it useless. I don't get that. Many of the so-called perks in the game do very little as it is, we get one that makes things a bit better, and they take it away. What?!?!

It's going to get to the point where perks have such marginal effects that you won't even notice when your perks aren't equipped. Maybe that's the point of this? They can't figure out how to fix perks unslotting themselves, so they're just going to make them so meaningless, that you won't even care.

This, right here. I would LOVE to use other weapons more effectively. As it stands right now, Shotguns and Immunizers are far too efficient. With the incoming shotgun nerf, those become even less effective. Everyone and their mom will be running with Immunizers now...

This perk was a huge boon, in PvP AND PvE. Going to be essentially useless now- on both fronts.
