Hello, just checking...Is the group called the 'Turncoats' or the 'Browncoats'?...lol
I've been anxious to start being a clan member this weekend, but haven't gotten any response/invite yet, since I agreed to join a few days ago.
Do I have to be online to receive this clan invite? Any info would be great, thanks.

Well, a month later I don't feel it.

I think this clan thing is over-rated, or am I missing something?
I went through the whole entry ceremony with two other existing members, and that was it.

Since then, I've seen a couple 'Browncoats' at Arkfalls, but not this big comradery that I thought would happen.
I don't even know if I ever had the title of 'Browncoats' on my description, in game.

This is not by any means calling the Browncoats a bad clan, I just thought there was more to it than what I've seen.
Maybe it's the hours I keep on this game, and work...it doesn't jive.

So, I continue to be a lone wolf...maybe someone can enlighten me. Are there places to meet? A way to know when events are happening?
Others that have a schedule that sucks bad? lol

    Thanks for any help.

I too my Canadian friend have been playing lone wolf, and have little interest in joining a clan. Their may be benefits but its just as fun not being tied down with a group. I do like that the Freemasons clan lets you join there contests without being one of their members. Observed the Freemasons in action saturday, seemed pretty legit, and well managed. Check them out if your still looking foe a clan to join. See ya out at the arkfalls eh. HAPPY CANADA DAY.

If you like you can join up with the Freemasons. We offer things well beyond the standard bonuses, such as daily clan activities, tournaments, weekly pursuit help/farming events, general knowledge of the game (as in we know many of the "little tricks" and good ways to do things), community events an more. There is no obligation to attend events or be anywhere at specific times; you simply play the game as you see fit and feel free to join in on the events whenever you like. You can alway find people to play with via clan chat as well just by simply typing into the channel or asking. I'm doing this all from my phone right now, otherwise I'd go into more details, but feel free to check out our site (in my signature) or our recruitment threads in the clan section of the forums. If you want to give us a try, simply send me a message over Xbox live (shwartznwalder) and I'll get with you in game. See you in Defiance!

You can also see our segment on Across the Badlands HERE.

Even if you aren't a Freemason, feel free to join in on our weekly community events HERE.

My clan consists entirely of people on my actual friends list that play Defiance. We don't do boost buying, but making a clan of your friends that play lets you better keep track of who's doing what when more than four are playing at once, and use the clan talk channel on the chatbox is a lot faster than trying to send messages from the dashboard.
