Why can't we have a gathering place in game say at the crater for players

Just thinking there is no place for people to gather and socialize like Ogrimarr was in WOW or Brit bank in UO.

The crater would be a good spot where people could start bar fights with each other's clans get drunk and shoot darts or themselves for pursuits.

hell you could even have a black market gun dealer there that you have to unlock through quests selling non tradable weapons and shields.

I mean really at the moment the Crater is useless and it could made into such a riot if supported right.


We need some atmosphere in this game badly.

Make players killable there if the want to engage in pvp... dam the possibilities are endless.

be a good place to hang clan trophy's to display to other people for special events too.

I think we desperately need something like this in Defiance. Right now, the only place to gather and be sociable is the forums, and people are just so horrible to each other here. This community needs some help if this game is to thrive the way I feel we all really want it to. If everyone didn't love the game so much, the emotions wouldn't be so high over every last little thing that happens.

Give them an inch. Then they'll want special Symbiot mounts to sit on top of the vendors and flap their wings while they're AFK having chicken and bellyaching on the forums about how it used to be before 1.20 dropped and how invisible leaping shotgun wielders ruled PvP and how tough it was to get oranges out of the lockboxes and such. Nah, just leave it be.

There could be two bar locations actually the other being where the paradise vendor is. We could get drunk and go punch out the dock workers just behind it. Think of the mayhem you could cause pulling them into the bar- lol.

Once they have a bank type area or some sort of trade center then maybe people may gather, but at this point there are so many different vendor locations that people just spread out. Underpass seems to be the most populated area most of the time, and even then it just looks like a ton of noobs in survivalist gear lol

That's a really great idea OP. It matched the theme of the game and what's the use of being a bandit and have no bar to get drunk, hit on females n brawl in?
