Defiance Shop

Hi there,
I'm testing the defiance shop, I bought a few things (outfits, lockboxes etc) but I haven't them in my invetory.
Is that a bug or I missed something?

When you click on them, it adds them to your shopping cart. You'll have to check out unless you do a quick buy but it should be added immediately.

They've provided you with some. I had 4,000 to spare. I'm guessing it's so you can get familiar with the Defiance Shop, and/or to see if there are any bugs with purchases.

When you buy a lockbox (of whatever level) you just get the items put directly into your inventory. You dont have to open anything.

I didn't get any bits

I have bought weapons, outfits, headgear, vehicles and boosts. These things don't show up in your inventory. The boosts are applied immediately, the other stuff is available to be equipped from your Loadout screen. Click L, click on outfits (under your avatar) and a menu pops up. Same for weapons etc. Click on your primary weapons slot, scroll up and down thru the choices and hit equip (bottom left of your screen to equip it.

Neither myself nor my playing partner have gotten our bits yet, after playing most of yesterday, and for a few hours today. Somehow, our housemate got 4,000 bits last night on his first day ever playing Defiance, and none of us know how it happened, but I have gone through some rigorous speculation.

• It can't be due to actual feedback submission, because he hasn't reported a single bug.
• It's not based on pre-orders - I've tested this with both mine and my girlfriend's accounts by applying our pre-order copies' keys, and we didn't get any bits in-game (housemate hasn't pre-ordered yet).
• It's not based on arkfall codes applied to one's account (Housemate currently has 0 arkfall codes applied to his account).
• It isn't based on ego rating - I've leveled a character up to the supposed 70-80 ego rating range, and haven't earned any bits (Housemate is currently within the lower 60's).
• It cannot be based on alpha access.
• Minor arkfall participation does not award these bits. I did think maybe it was awarded for major arkfall participation, or the associated arkfall pursuits or arkfall enemy pursuits - however, housemate has only completed one combat pursuit (Still need to test whether or not major arkfall participation triggers it).

It's almost like the players who actually know about bits haven't gotten them, whereas those who are completely unaware of them or are brand new to the game get them (totally speculating here). Could we get an official answer on how we can qualify for the free bits? My housemates and I, as I'm sure many other unfortunate players, are really eager to get our hands on some Defiance Store items, especially for free before launch. We're gonna be pretty bummed if we don't get to test out the shop before then.

Just an update on this issue: My girlfriend and I both now have bits on our accounts after the latest patch. I hope this has remedied the issue for everyone else. Thank you very much to the Trion team! ~

haven't received any bits myself must be random who gets them was looking forward to going on a shopping binge in the store lol just going to have to wait until the release and buy a few bits
