The Official Non-English Speaking Users who speak English thread !

Please read that post with a strong French accent.

Because not everybody on the Defiance Forum is from North America or from the British Isles.
Because we are proud of the mistakes we make when we speak or write in English.
Because we really need a place to rest and comfort ourselves on these foreign forums...

For my part, Dracian, French whiner (and proud to be), speaking and learning English for something like 20 years and still unable to correctly use "whom" and "whose", still unable to correctly pronounce "to heat" so that it doesn't sound like "to eat", and still unable to hear (to ear ?) the difference between a beach and a *****...

Neither can anybody else, even native English speakers. Also, I love French accents.

You... It... Well... Let's say that I understood what you meant, which is the most important thing
And after all, that thread is all about butchered language, so you don't have to feel sorry.
FYI : "Welcome my friend" in French : Bienvenue mon ami... "mon petit ami/ma petite amie" means "my boyfriend/my girlfriend"

Oh, and BTW, inb4 Omelette du fromage.

I took Spanish in high school, and I remember none of it.
The clock goes round and round.
    Where it goes nobody knows.
Except those few who don't try and loose.
The clock keeps ticking as fortune glooms.
Fore those who are loose with what they choose.
The clock keeps ticking over those bafoons while the watchful eye always looms.
