Are there any guys that actually play as a Male Character?

Ive noticed that a lot of people on my friends list and others that I trade with, that I know are dudes, use female characters. I dont understand this weird obsession with playing as a female. It seems creepy in my opinion... if you are a dude then why not play as a dude? Anyone else not understand this?

Well 1: I use a mic, so i know who is a guy and who is a girl, unless you are like 13 and then i would instantly mute you. 2: Im guessing you are on Eu so that makes me feel better knowing ill never meet you in game... creeper..

If you don't understand it, you should try it.

Seeing as most FPS and TPS don't give you an option to choose gender I usually pick a female character if it's available... just to change the scenery.

There are various reasons for a male to play female, some differ from others. Some guys do it because they have issues with they're masculinity, so they mask it by playing a female character, because they "need" to see a girls butt jiggle. Some guys are really into role playing and feel they play a female better, or don't want to play a guy because they are a guy (like why play human if you can be an elf) some men could be transgendered and seek comfort playing females because it lets them out of they're skin for awhile. Then you have the ones who just want to be female because they think its cool to be the opposite gender in games.

Either way, it's not may place to judge, if playing the opposite gender makes the game more fun; power to you.

I always play as a guy if there is a choice because I like to imagine myself as the character. The only time i'll make a female is if there's some achievement for doing something as one.

I have always played as a male character and decided to try a female. It is arguably better watching her run around than a male.
