plus anyone whom have played the game since the launch knows when trion states 4 hours down time means 8 hours real time. You just have to wait and pray. It will hopefully be up before 8pm est
I'm not whining by any means and certainly do NOT think this game is a lemon. I love everything about it so far. But it is frustrating to me that a friend just bought it last night and has yet to be able to experience all the reasons why I love it. I keep telling him that there are a lot of things you will deal with when you love the game. But I've got to get him playing to understand.
trust me defiance has tested many gamers lately , but in a few months the game will be playable , i just hope the large amount of gamers that have thrown the towel in on this game come back . sadly once a gamer leaves a game due to the issue that defiances has they usually dont come back. I have just come to the fact to not expect much from it and that way these long down times dont bother me much
Your Challenger won't drive? You're probably in the passenger seat.
Can't sell/delete an item? Check all of your loadouts, it's likely still equipped.
Auction house? Why? It'll just render bits purchased lock boxes pointless, and weapons are mostly equal anyway.
Gear/enemy progression? No thanks, it'll only render 90% of the content trivial when you reach the highest zone.
just tell your friend to give it time. I too build the hype of game to friends whom were angry when they tried to play it too. I just told them give it time .
nope just the track record trion has with patchs since the launch . a patch to fix the patch to fix the patch then take down the server for emergency maintance
I'm really happy with the game thus far. I'm happy that I spent 60 bucks and don't have to pay a monthly fee. I understand that there will be problems with a game that has such a massive world and massive amount of players. I think being patient is key here. People aren't perfect and neither is Trion. I know the game will be continually developed and be better as time goes on. I can't wait for the server to be back up and am excited to see what new things are to come. In the mean time, I'm watching golf and enjoying my day off.
Ok, enough is enough.
Is it me or does there seem to be a lot of people who claim to work in the 'industry' and yet offer little to no proof at all, not to mention giving any solid information on their projects or anything else for that matter.
So why don't all the people who claim to work in the industry form a tight knit group and produce your own game? go on, enlighten us all of your godlike knowledge, show us how it's meant to be done. Stop posting statements of which you cannot prove without clawing your way through google first and create a game for all of us to rip apart at will.
I'm not talking about a small ****ty indie game, I'm talking about a full on retail game on an MMO scale.
I feel like I'll be waiting for this 'game' for a long time.
Have you got the gonads to own the Nomad?
