How to unlock the Truck?

i know in the Beta on Xbox you could get a pickup truck that looked kinda like a truck they use in rally races. but i haven't seen any since the beta. wouldn't be suprized if there was a hidden vender person that sells one

No...no..no.. U can buy the truck from the defiance store 960 bite I know because I own it and yes they have passenger seats.

I think he's referring to the pick up truck you can get and not the big *** thing you get from missions, because I too want one. (Im not talking about the Cerberus either).

All rollers have a passenger seat, yes including the Duni. Theres two trucks as others have said, but just to recap ..

The Military/Cass's truck (Big grey van) is mission use only. Theres 3 or 4 missions which give you access to it, but once the mission is over, its gone. Some people will not complete the mission for a while just to use it because its nearly indestructible and can wrack up roller xp running around ramming stuff.

The Nomad, AKA Trophy Truck or Race Truck is acquired either from Pre-ordering through Steam or buying one of the colors from the Store for Bits (real money).

The truck you get from the missions i.e. the one with cass, in the beta and alpha were called Haulers and had their own skill to level, not sure if they'll be adding haulers in retail as a DLC or a season progression vehicle.

The pick up truck is the Nomad which is categorized as a roller.

No idea why they merged the hauler into the roller skill

I am most likely the one you saw driving Cass's Truck the "T4 Titan" (there are a few others who do but I think I have been doing it the longest). You get the Titan from am early mission in the main story line. The truck is quite frankly the best weapon in the game that includes the "reaper" mini-gun. Given a choice between the reaper and the titan I will always choose the Titan (and have for the side mission "weapon shipment" countless times. Why? Because the Titan kills more bad guys faster than the "reaper" and I like "driving it like I stole it". If I use my Titan for a arkfall I will top the leader board by a MAJOR margin (# of kills and damage) I should probably keep my secret but at some point folks will figure it out anyway. I have most of the other vehicles (runners, rollers and challenger...not the pick-up yet) but I always go back to the titan with the perk "hell on wheels" it is just too much fun tearing up a side mission or driving through a plant, yes even going up to the second and third floor of buildings and running the baddies down ( I am always surprised by the places I can make this great vehicle go) It can be destroyed by some of the higher level bosses but usually by then I have done enough damage to them that I can pick them off the "old fashioned" way! I hope they will make this vehicle available at some point in the game so I can progress the main story but until that happens I will just keep "rinsing and repeating!" It is what makes the game for me! = )
