Well at least that is good that is the way it is suppose to work. Just have to verify it when we actually get to try it!
I got an infector stalker mod for an infector. Supposed to be 5% range with first mod. I added it to an immunized. 5% of 40 is 2. The homing range stat did not change to 42. It stayed at 40. In addition, the augments you get from capping out xp on a weapon remain the same after you cap it again, or so I'm hearing. Takes like 5 mins to cap out a detonator or courier, so I can easily confirm later.
