i thought it was for the fast travel system the blue pin you can travel to the earth base camp the farm and the 2 other places

ive gotten a bunch of hostage tokens, but no idea what they are for or do. Maybe that parts not in the beta?
maybe you can exchange the tokens for rewards when you get enough ?
